Self-taught using YouTube tutorials
In my free time at KIP, I taught myself how to use Blender, a 3D animation and modeling software tool for professional animators and modelers as well as game designers and beyond. Bringing 3D modeling and animation to our company for the first time, I created 3D models for each of our printer configuration lines (71 G Series, 700 C Series, 75 G Series, 79 G Series, and 900 C Series) as well as creating new assets for new Digital Displays from a partner company, Volanti. Created custom locations and landscapes, and even re-created our Corporate Showroom Studio & Office for future 3D animation marketing applications.
Recently, I challenged myself by modeling and animating 9 products from our new Volanti Displays line within 10 days in order to have them ready for our August Advantage LIVE. My biggest contribution to KIP so far, my animations have been noticed by company executives, and are featured prominently at the top of multiple pages on our KIP official website. These 3D animations and models will also be used during each product demo
